We live in a world that is both beautiful and horrific. Of all the arts I feel photography does the best job of capturing our experiences.

Singer Marty Robbins penned a song 'Only A Picture Stops Time'. I guess that sums it up, especially as I look at my collection of slides and some archival prints spanning a century.

Photography is magical, a mixture of art and science, a potent mix.
